Explosive eruption of the volcano continues moderate to high levels.
INSIVUMEH reported that the effusion of the lava flow in Ceniza direction has stopped and is no longer active.
Near-constant strombolian explosions are associated with incandescent material that is ejected to an approximate height of 300 m above the crater with moderate to strong avalanches.
The frequency of stronger explosions is expected generating large ash and gas content.
A decrease of volcanic tremor has been recorded by the seismic instruments.
