Effusive-explosive eruption of the volcano continues.
The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) recorded an ash plume that rose 6,700 ft (1,900 m) above the summit and drifted northeast.
Lava flows continue to be active on the northwest and northeast slopes of the volcano.

The lava flows eruption continues at the volcano since the last update. The eruption seems to be mainly effusive.
