After almost 7 months, the Japan Coast Guard (JCG) did a new flight observation of the volcano on 16 August.
Images depict an impressive view of the volcanic island from air including detailed shot of the crater.
Series of explosive activity occurred at the volcano during the past few days as the volcano produced the dense dark ash column to 6,300 ft (1,900 m) height.
