As our expedition leader Yasmin reports from our ongoing expedition on Vanuatu, exceptionally good weather conditions allowed to observe 4 active lava lakes that are at the moment present on Ambrym volcano: the largest is located in Marum's Mbuwelesu crater at a depth of ca. 400m and has a diameter of around 40 m.
