The eruption on the remote island continues. Recent satellite images show increased ash emissions as well as two dark stripes that likely are newly erupted lava flows to the west and northwest from Mount Sourabaya volcano.

The eruption continues, but seems to have lost energy recently: satellite images still show ash plumes drifting from the remote island, but these have been less intense during the past week.

The eruption continues - Buenos Aires VAAC reports detecting ongoing ash emissions from satellite data. A moderately sized plume can be seen drifting east from the volcano.

The latest eruption likely continues. On recent satellite images, a strong heat source caused by lava is still visible at the summit vent of the remote volcano.
