Eruption news from Cleveland volcano:

Cleveland volcano (Aleutian Islands, Alaska): small explosion recorded

Tuesday Oct 25, 2016 16:47 PM | DOOR: T

An explosion occurred at the volcano yesterday at 13:10 local time. It was detected by the Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) in both infrasound (air pressure) and seismic data; residents in Nikolski 45 miles (75 km) from Cleveland reported hearing the explosion.
No visual observations were possible due to bad weather and no ash plume detected on satellite imagery.
AVO raised the color code/alert level of Cleveland Volcano from YELLOW/ADVISORY to ORANGE/WATCH.
