Dukono volcano (Halmahera, Indonesia) activity update

Active vent inside Dukono's crater (image: Aris Yanto)The volcano continues to erupt continuous, loud, roaring jets of gas and small amounts of spatter from vents at the bottom of the deep crater.
Ash plumes are regularly being reported by VAAC Darwin.
The attached pictures by our friend Aris Yanto was taken a few days ago from the crater rim.
