Background
The Martin Vaz archipelago lies 48 km east of Trindade Island, about 1750 km west of the Mid-Atantic Ridge. A larger islet, Martin Vaz, is adjacent to three smaller ones. K-Ar ages of about 1.5 Ma and <0.73 Ma were obtained.---
