No significant change in activity has occurred during the past days.
PHIVOLCS recorded 1 volcano-tectonic earthquake and continuing emissions of gas and steam plumes. The plumes were dispersed towards the northwest, west-northwest and west-southwest direction.
Constant glow is visible from the summit crater.
Sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions reached to a 324 tonnes/day.
Recent electronic tilt data showed inflation of the middle to upper portions of the volcanic edifice that began in the last quarter of 2019.
The warning bulletin states that ballistic impacts of volcanic bombs, pyroclastic and lava flows could affect an area of about 6 km distance from the crater and 7 km on the SSW and ENE flank.
