Reventador volcano (Ecuador): powerful explosion and pyroclastic flow this morning

The pyroclastic flow from Reventador's explosion this morning

Seismic signal at Reventador volcano today (CONE station, IGPEN)
A strong explosion occurred at the volcano this morning at 06:50 local time. It produced a heavily loaded, dense eruption column that collapsed into a pyroclastic flow that swept down the flank of the cone:
Before and after, several smaller explosions also occurred as well. The current series of eruptions has been accompanied by an increase in seismic activity since last night.
Tuesday, Jul 01, 2014
Effusive-explosive activity at the volcano continues, but has decreased following the recent surge of lava emission that ended about a week ago. ...
Thursday, Jun 19, 2014
Effusive-explosive activity continues at the volcano. Small ash eruptions occurred today and weak lava effusion on the upper flanks of the cone can be seen on thermal webcam imagery.
Friday, May 30, 2014
A moderate explosion at the volcano produced an ash plume that rose to flight level 210 (21,000 ft / 6.5 km altitude), a pilot reported.
Thursday, May 29, 2014
Weak to moderate effusive and explosive activity continues at the volcano. Cloud cover prevents direct observations most of the time, but the seismic signal shows tremor and explosion signals. A thermal hot spot indicates that lava continues to build up at the summit lava dome.
Tuesday, May 13, 2014
The lava flows on the slopes of the summit cone are no longer active, but intermittent explosions of small to medium size continue to occur.
