Activity has remained weak. Only few small explosions occurred from the dome and the block lava flows on the flanks of the dome showed little movement recently, in the form of small avalanches from their steep fronts.

Light ash fall occurred in the areas of Finca San José and Finca La Quina.

Activity remains more or less unchanged, but relatively weak. The volcano observatory reported to have heard 5 explosions during the past night, and notes ongoing weak to moderate avalanches from the active lava flows on the flanks of the Caliente lava dome. INSIVUMEH reports no significant changes in activity. The lava dome has been a little bit less explosive recently but continues to effuse blocky lava flows that descend its flanks and produce weak to moderate avalanches. [meer...]

No significant changes occurred. Explosions of small and moderate size up to about 1 km height continue frequently and produce an ash plume drifting 15 km to the East and Northeast. Ash fall occurred in some parts of the city of Quetzaltenango where also faint odor of sulfur was noted. The lava flows on the sides of the dome remain active as well. [meer...]
