Chirinkotan (Northern Kuriles): Weak steam-gas emission was observed on 3 July, and a thermal anomaly was observed on 4 July on satellite data, SVERT reports. It is not known what sort of activity is currently occurring at the volcano.

Popocatépetl (Central Mexico): In the last 7 hours the monitoring system of Popocatepetl registered four hours of low-frequency and low amplitude tremor that was accompanied by
An overflight yesterday showed that the activity of the last few days has formed a new lava dome that has filled the inner crater and reached approximately 250 meters in diameter.

Ol Doinyo Lengai (Tanzania): The volcano continues to be active, and produce natrocarbonatite lava that slowly fills up the crater. A small cone of natrocarbonatite lava is forming on the western side of Lengai's crater, which formed in 2008 during a series of violent explosions that destroyed the former bizarre crater terrace filling the north crater, famous for the bizarre "hornitos" of white and gray lava.
Gian Schachenmann, who climbed the volcano recently, did not see major changes since September last year. From the rim, one could hear the slushing of lava inside the crater and big cracks were observed on the NW crater rim near the top, with lots of gasses coming out.

Heard (Australia, Southern Indian Ocean): A thermal hot spot is again visible at the Mawson Peak summit crater of the island, suggesting renewed activity. Due to the remoteness of the uninhabited island, which is rarely visited, only satellite data are usually available to detect activity.
This is the first sign of possible new lava effusion since May, when a lava flow was detected on the SW flank.
