Sakurajima (Kyushu, Japan): Strong activity continues. This morning, a relatively large vulcanian-type explosion produced a plume rising to 14,000 ft (4.3 km) altitude. The the volcano continued to emit ash for several hours following the explosion.

White Island (New Zealand): GeoNet issued a new bulletin about unusual seismic activity at White Island, but mentions that there is no current eruption:
"Over the past few weeks White Island has repeatedly produced very small volcanic earthquakes. These small tremor bursts are occurring like clockwork, approximately every 70 seconds, creating a unique pattern on our earthquake drum, with hundreds of these small bursts recorded every day.

Popocatépetl (Central Mexico): Activity increased again a few hours ago. Strong tremor and near continuous emissions as well as bright glow from the summit can be seen on the current seismogram and on webcams.

San Diego (Colombia): (9 Jul) On 5 July 2013, Colombian scientists from INGEOMINAS have installed a first seismic monitoring station in order to find out whether San Diego volcano is potentially still active or not.

Evolution of tremor at Tolbachik as given by KVERT (graphic: Culture Volcan)
Tuesday, Jul 09, 2013
Tolbachik (Kamchatka): While the activity of lava effusion from the southern vent continues, the recent tremor measurements of KVERT have been showing a decreasing trend since mid June, after having been stable or even rising a bit since April. This means that the effusion rate is likely decreasing as well, but still, it is difficult to predict when the eruption will eventually end. ... [meer...]

Chirinkotan (Northern Kuriles): Weak steam-gas emission was observed on 3 July, and a thermal anomaly was observed on 4 July on satellite data, SVERT reports. It is not known what sort of activity is currently occurring at the volcano. ... [meer...]
SO2 plume from Popocatépetl yesterday (NOAA)
Sunday, Jul 07, 2013

Saturday, Jul 06, 2013
Iwo-Tori-shima (Ryukyu Islands): A possible small eruption occurred this morning. Tokyo VAAC received a (pilot) report of an ash plume rising to 7,000 ft (2.1 km) and drifting 40 nautical miles to the north of the small island. No ash could be detected on satellite images, and sometimes weather clouds are mistaken for ash plumes. ... [meer...]
