Sakurajima (Kyushu, Japan): Activity remains elevated. The volcano produces near-constant ash venting and relatively many (3+ per day) vulcanian-type explosions. Ash plumes have been rising up to 14,000 ft (4.2 km) during the past 2 days.
The following video shows activity seen from the webcam this morning:

Batu Tara (Sunda Islands, Indonesia): An explosion earlier today produced an ash plume rising to 7,000 ft (2.1 km) altitude, VAAC Darwin reported.

Explosion from Shiveluch volcano this morning (KVERT webcam)
Shiveluch (Kamchatka): The volcano continues to slowly extrude a new lobe of viscous lava from the dome. This process is accompanied by occasional explosions and ash emissions such as one this morning that produced a plume rising to 19,000 ft (5.8 km) altitude. ... Lees alle

Small steam plume from active Klyuchevskoy volcano this morning
Kliuchevskoi (Kamchatka): The effusion of a lava flow on the SW flank and strombolian activity at the summit vent continue. Avalanches are being formed from detaching lava blocks from the flow on the steep flow. KVERT reports moderate seismic activity with strong tremor, that obscure the signal from nearby Bezymianny volcano. A large thermal anomaly can be seen on satellite data. ... Lees alle

Kalapana coastal plain during a pause on Sep 8, 2013.
Lokon-Empung (North Sulawesi, Indonesia): An explosion at 6:30 am (local time) today at Lokon-Empung volcano produced an ash plume that rose to a height of 1.5 km. The explosion was heard 10 km away. ... Lees alle

Map of recent earthquakes under El Hierro (IGN)
Etna (Sicily, Italy): Last night, very deep-seated strombolian activity could be observed from both the Bocca Nuova and the New SE crater. This indicates that (similarly to early this year) magma has risen into the upper parts of the conduits beneath both vents. It might only be a question of time until this activity increases (perhaps even towards new paroxysms) and maybe becomes focused on one of the two craters. ... Lees alle

The cone of Klyuchevskoy volcano this morning (note the gas plume from the lava flow)
Etna (Sicily, Italy): Since a few days ago, the New SE crater has been producing weak ash emissions occasionally. Whether this is the precursor to more vigorous activity and when this will occur, is difficult to say at the moment, but it is a sign that the volcano is waking up from the slumber it has been in during the past 4 months. ...
