Background
The Nyuto-Takakura volcano group consists of Nyuto-san, Takakura-yama, Hiragakura-yama, Marumori, Sankagu-yama, Sasamori-yama, Yumori-yama volcanoes. The basaltic-to-dacitic volcano group was active about 0.6-0.1 million years ago (Nakano et al., 2001-).---
