Pacaya volcano (Guatemala): lava flow on the northwest flank

INSIVUMEH reported that the lava flow on the northwest flank are being observed, currently about 500 m long.
Incandescent material is being ejected to an approximate height of 100 meters above the crater due to ongoing strombolian-type explosions.
In addition, fumarolic activity is observed from the Mackenney summit crater. The plumes were dispersed towards the northwest direction.
The seismic station records internal tremor as the flux of magma rising within the volcano.
