Wed, 4 Jul 2007, 08:11 Mild strombolian activity and the effusion of two small lava flows continue at Pacaya volcano. New small lava flows ca. 150 and 300 m long are present on the upper NE flank, travelling NE and N towards Los Llanos y Cerro Chino. Sat, 16 Jun 2007, 11:52 Strombolian activity continues at Pacaya from two vents at the summit crater. Incandescent projections reach 200 m height. Wed, 21 Mar 2007, 20:20 INSIVUMEH reported that on 9 and 12 March, fumurolic activity from Pacaya's MacKenney Cone produced plumes that rose to 3 km (9,800 ft) a.s.l. and drifted S and SW. Incandescence was reflected in the plumes on 9 March.
