Pacaya volcano (Guatemala) activity update: strombolian explosions continue with lava flows

Lava flows continue to be active on the south slopes of the volcano with an approximate length of 100 m. Avalanches are generated in the front of the flows due to strombolian explosions at 5 - 25 m above the crater.
The seismic stations recorded tremor associated with the rise of magma and gases.
