Pavlof volcano (Alaska Peninsula): alert lowered to green
Seismic activity at the volcano has continued to decrease over the past two weeks and no anomalous activity has been detected in satellite data since weakly elevated surface temperatures were seen on April 8.

AVO is therefore lowering the aviation color code to GREEN and the Volcano Alert Level to NORMAL.

Weak activity continues at the volcano. The volcano observatory showed photographs showing the volcano emitting a steam plume and reports seismic activity is still elevated. read all
