Pavlof volcano (Alaska Peninsula): alert level raised

The alert level of the volcano was raised (yellow on the USGS 4 color scale) as a new phase of activity could have started.

Seismic activity increased this morning and minor steam emissions were observed from the summit crater.
AVO raised the Aviation Color Code to Yellow and the Volcano Alert Level to ADVISORY.
