Mojo Alcantara is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Messina in the Italian region Sicily, located about 150 km east of Palermo and about 50 km southwest of Messina.
Mojo Alcantara borders the following municipalities: Castiglione di Sicilia, Malvagna, Roccella Valdemone.

Mojo Alcantara is interesting because of a cinder cone. This prehistoric volcanic eruption had its own magma chamber and it is the only insulated volcano north of Etna volcano. It is also the origin of the lava flow into the so called "alcantara gorge".
