Kilauea volcano (Hawaii): caldera and lava lake Sep 2016

Impressions from Kilauea's caldera with the active lava lake inside the Halema'uma'u crater in mid Sep 2016. The level of the lake was so high that the lava could be easily seen from the HVO observatory's Jagger lookout.
