The volcanic tremor recorded by the seismic station(image: OVPF)
The seismic station records 210 volcano-tectonic earthquakes under the summit area. The intensity of the volcanic tremor gradually decreases since the opening of the eruptive cracks.
During the overflight at 13:00 - 13:30 local time OVPF recorded that the lava fountains on the E flank remain active. Material is ejected to an approximate height of 10 meters. Several cracks opened on the eastern flank of the terminal cone between the upper part of the terminal cone and 2000 m above sea level. All of these cracks extend over a distance of approximately 1 km.
Lava flows continue to be active on the eastern flank of the volcano that reached 1,700 m altitude at 13:15 local time. The flow front was less than 150 m from the break of the large slopes.
