A small phreatic eruption occurred from the hot crater lake in the morning (08:19 local time) on 25 July and ejected material to 50 m above the crater lake's surface.

Small explosion plume from Poás yesterday
A small phreatic explosion occurred at the crater lake yesterday morning at 09:20 local time showing that the hydrothermal system of the volcano remains at elevated unrest.
