Seismic signal this morning CONE station (IG)
The lava dome is growing in the summit crater and the volcano produces a significant steam plume and occasional explosions, although these are not often seen as the volcano is usually in clouds.
IG has recently repaired the seismic station and records more than 100 signals, mostly long-periods on a daily basis.

A large steam plume is rising up to about 1.5-2 km from the volcano and sometimes contains ash.
Monday, Oct 08, 2012
Yesterday morning, a steam and ash emission less than 1 km in height was observed from the volcano during a (rare) window of clear weather.
