Near-constant vulcanian explosions continue to take place from the summit crater that reached elevation between 4,3 km and 4,9 km (16,000 ft) and drifted into various directions, but most often to the southeast and southwest.
The active lava flow is being oozed out from the summit vent causing rockfall avalanches that tumble down along the northeastern flank.
