Eruption event from Rincon de la Vieja volcano yesterday (image: OVSICORI)
Another eruptive event of the volcano occurred since the last update.
On 24 August at 16:02 local time
OVSICORI-UNA observed a phreatic explosion likely that generated a white plume, which rose approx. 3,280 ft (1,000 m)
above the summit.
No ash fall was reported.
