The activity of the volcano continues at elevated levels, characterized by strong ash emissions. Currently, the ash plume is being swirled around in the area by the tropical depression Six, which weakened from the previous category of tropical storm. The plume contains sulfur dioxide (SO2), ash particles and other aerosols from the volcano, as can be seen in the Himawari satellite image. читать все
