Reventador volcano (Ecuador): lava flow eruption continues

The volcano continues to generate vulcanian-type explosions from the summit crater accompanied by near-continuous ash plumes reaching approx. 14,000 ft (4,300 m) altitude.
The emitting lava flow on the northeast flank remains active. Collapsing parts of the flow generated incandescent avalanches that detach from it and roll down the slope.
No thermal anomaly was observed nor in FIRMS and MIROVA during the last 24 hours.
