Reventador volcano (Ecuador) - Smithsonian / USGS Weekly Volcanic Activity Report for 6 August-12 August 2008 (Continuing Activity)
The IG reported that steam-and-gas from Reventador was emitted during 6-8 August. Incandescence from the crater was observed at night on 8 August.

A new eruption is reported from Reventador volcano. The Ecuadorian Institute of Geophysics (Istituto Geofisico, IG) reports eruptive tremor starting on 27 July from 15h00 local time. In the evening of that day, incandscence became visible from the summit of the volcano, indicating lava flows.
