Sangay volcano (Ecuador): eruptions continue with incandescent avalanches

The volcano continues to produce near-frequent small-to-moderate ash emissions and larger vulcanian-type explosions that reached about 22,000 ft (6,700 m) altitude and drifted W direction.
Much of the ejected incandescent material slid down and caused glowing rockfalls along the southeastern flank.
