A satellite image from 4 June shows that lava flows continue to be active on the south and southeast slopes of the volcano.
Incandescent material is being ejected above Seloko Jongring crater and caused avalanches of material.
On 3 June at 07:00 local time Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin recorded an explosion that generated a dark ash plume, which reached approx. 13,000 ft (3,962 m) altitude. Volcanic ash is dispersed towards the southwest and causes ash fall on the volcano's slopes.
The warning bulletin states that ballistic impacts of volcanic bombs and pyroclastic flows could affect an area of about 1 km distance from the main crater and 4 km on the SSE flank.
