PHIVOLCS recorded magmatic eruptions on 12 January at 13:00 local time and today on 13 January between at 02:49 to 04:28 local time.
An ash plumes reached 55,000 ft (16,800 m) altitude.
The magmatic eruption is characterized by lava fountaining accompanied by thunders of lightning. At 14:00 local time yesterday, the sounds of eruptions were heard at Talisay, Batangas.
The seismic station records 75 volcano-tectonic earthquakes on 13 January at 5:00 local time. Increased seismic activity is accompanied by magma movement under the volcano which may lead to next eruptive activity.
Alert level remains at 4 on a scale of 0-5. The warning bulletin states that ballistic impacts of volcanic bombs and pyroclastic flows and tsunamis could affect an area of about 14 km distance from the main crater.
