Based on information from the Vanuatu Geohazards Observatory, the Wellington VAAC reported that during 16-19 June ash plumes from Gaua rose to an altitude of 3 km (10,000 ft) a.s.l. On 19 June the plume drifted more than 90 km W.Source: Wellington Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC)
