Villarrica volcano (Central Chile): series of near-constant strombolian-type explosions

Eleven small to moderate strombolian-type explosions were detected during 6-8 November. An ash plumes rose 721 ft-1,148 ft (220 m-350 m) above the summit and drifted northwest.
Scoria is being ejected to an approximate height of 80 meters above the crater.
