Emissions of gas and steam plumes with minor ash content occurred and can be seen rising from the crater. Some explosions remains intensified and volcanic projectiles or bombs may fall in and/or around the summit crater.
The warning bulletin states that volcanic gases, ash and volcanic bombs could affect an area of about 600 m distance from the eruptive vents. The danger zone for life safety is limited in the Danger Zone A.

Yasur volcano (Vanuatu) - Smithsonian / USGS Weekly Volcanic Activity Report for 29 April-5 May 2020 (Continuing Activity)
On 30 April the Vanuatu Meteorology and Geo-Hazards Department (VMGD) reported that recent visual observations at Yasur confirmed that gas-and-ash emissions were ongoing. The report noted that some of the explosions could be intense and eject bombs outside of the summit crater.
