Small magnitude 3.1 quake hits 12 miles southwest of Karluk, Alaska, United States early morning

Our monitoring service identified a second report from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) which listed the quake at magnitude 3.1 as well.
Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Karluk (pop. 37) located 12 miles from the epicenter. In Larsen Bay (pop. 88, 28 miles away), and Akhiok (pop. 72, 44 miles away), the quake was probably not felt.
