Light tremor of magnitude 4.2 just reported 50 km northeast of Sitia, Greece

The National Observatory of Athens (NOA) reported a magnitude 4.2 quake in Greece near Sitia, Lasithi, Crete, only 7 minutes ago. The earthquake hit early morning on Monday 18 January 2021 at 6:23 am local time at a shallow depth of 10 km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) which listed the quake at magnitude 4.2 as well. A third agency, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), reported the same quake at magnitude 4.3.
