Small magnitude 3.7 quake hits 46 miles south of Nullagine, Australia in the afternoon

An earthquake of magnitude 3.7 occurred only 27 minutes ago 46 miles south of Nullagine, Australia, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported.
The quake hit at a very shallow depth of 0.6 miles beneath the epicenter near Nullagine, East Pilbara, Western Australia, Australia, in the afternoon on Monday 7 June 2021 at 4:03 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
A second report was later issued by Geoscience Australia (GeoAu), which listed it as a magnitude 3.7 earthquake as well.
According to preliminary calculations, we do not expect that the quake was felt by many people and did not cause any damage. In Nullagine (pop. 2,600, 46 miles away), the quake was probably not felt.
