The event was filed by the United States Geological Survey, the first seismological agency to report it.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) which listed the quake at magnitude 3.8 as well.
Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake should not have caused any significant damage, but was probably felt by many people as light vibration in the area of the epicenter.
Weak shaking might have been felt in Denali National Park (pop. 220) located 15 miles from the epicenter.

The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported a magnitude 4.4 quake in Peru near Orcopampa, Provincia de Castilla, Arequipa, only 15 minutes ago. The earthquake hit early evening on Monday 14 June 2021 at 7:47 pm local time at an intermediate depth of 113 km.
