Dawson (1992) considered the age of Sadiman volcano to be uncertain, with one source considering it to be Pleistocene and another obtaining a K-Ar age of 4.5 Ma. Clasts of Sadiman lavas are found in sediments dated to 1.7-2.0 million years.---
