The seismic station records increase activity of microearthquakes. Low-amplitude tremor increased after a quiet period of approx. 11 hours and were associated with gas emissions.
510 emissions of gas and steam plumes occurred. Sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions have increased.
Ashfall was reported in several areas downwind including Piedra Azul (5 km SW).
