According to IGEPN, the activity at the volcano has been increasing during the past few days associated with increasingly larger ash plumes as can be seen rising from the crater to an altitude of 23,000 ft (7,000 m). An ash fall could affect a population of Chimborazo, Cañar, Guayas, Azuay, El Oro, Tungurahua and Cotopaxi. ... read all
