Sangay volcano (Ecuador): lava flow eruption continues

According to IGEPN, effusive-explosive eruption of the volcano continues.
Lava flow continues to be active on the east slopes of the volcano.
Explosive activity continues from the active crater with near-constant ash emissions that reached 20,000 ft (6,100 m) altitude and drifted W.
46 thermal anomalies were observed in the FIRMS satellite images.
