Effusive-explosive eruption of the volcano continues at moderate to high levels characterized by pyroclastic flows that traveled over the southern slopes, as can be seen in the image.
Explosive activity continues with near-constant large ash emissions that reached 21,000 ft (6,400 m) altitude and drifted W.
Incandescence continues to be observed from the crater and caused avalanches of material on the southeast flank associated with lava flows.
According to MIROVA Detection System a high thermal anomaly was detected in satellite images.
