The effusive-explosive eruption of the volcano continues.
The explosive activity is characterized by near-constant ash emissions from the active crater that rose to estimated 6 km altitude and drifted most often W-SW direction.
The active lava flow continues to effuse onto the southeastern slope at moderate rate. Collapsing parts of the flow generated a glowing rockfalls and caused avalanches of material.Source: Instituto Geofísico volcano activity update 7 April 2021
