The effusive-explosive eruption of the volcano continues.
Instituto Geofísico of Ecuador and Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington recorded several eruptions with a large amount of ash during the past two days.
Plumes of ash rose to an altitude of 22,000 ft-24,000 ft (6,700 m-7,300 m) and extended to the northwest of the volcano over Bolívar and Chimborazo area where ashfall is exptected.
The lava continues to keep the flow active onto the southeastern slope at moderate rate.
