Santiaguito volcano (Guatemala): pyroclastic flow

On 29 June at 14:22 local time INSIVUMEH recorded pyroclastic flow that traveled over the west flank of the Caliente dome, as can be seen in the webcam screenshots.

Volcanic ash is extending to the east of the volcano.

INSIVUMEH reported that during 24-29 June explosions at Santa María's Santiaguito lava-dome complex generated ash plumes that rose 700-1,000 m above the crater and drifted as far as 1 km S, SW, W, and N.
