Santa Maria / Santiaguito volcano (Guatemala) activity update: weak to moderate explosions, active lava flows
Today, there were 2 weak explosions at 06:08 and 6:24 hours and a moderate one with incandescent material at 04:06 hours local time, generating ash plumes rising 600-800 m.

At 05:18 hours local time yesterday, a rumbling was heard from the Nima 1 valley above the observatory. Most of the time, the dome is degassing with a 400 m steam plume. read all
