Weak to moderate explosions generate light ash plumes that drifted to the east towards the las Aldeas Belén and Calaguache areas.
The lava flows at the flanks of the dome produced constant avalanches, INSIVUMEH reports today.

No changes in activity were reported today. Ash explosions of small to moderate size with plumes up to about 800 m height occur at rates of 1-2 per hour on average. Only the southeastern lava flow from the dome was reported to be weakly active today. [more]

Relatively frequent small to moderate explosions have been occurring today. The activity generated ash plumes rising up to 1-1.5 km above the lava dome and drifting at 13,000 ft (4 km) altitude to the NW. [more]
